Stargazy - the perfect Padstow retreat

Enjoy a well deserved break in our luxury Padstow cottage

Hello,

We bought Stargazy cottage in September 2014 as we fell in love with it’s central location. When we bought it, it was called Puffin Cottage, but we renamed it Stargazy after the traditional Cornish fish pie, as we feel the name better reflects it’s history as a traditional fisherman’s cottage.

It’s in a quiet mews terrace called Alma Place, opposite the Old Alms Houses on Middle Street. Middle Street being the home of Rick Stein’s Cafe and Rick Stein’s Gift Shop as well as Paul Ainsworth’s No. 6. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is literally on your doorstep.

Yet when you step down Alma Place and inside Stargazy cottage you feel away from the hustle and bustle of Padstow.

We hope to welcome you to stay with us soon.

It has been renovated to the highest of standards and boasts contemporary features, including granite work surfaces, top of the range kitchen appliances, and branded crockery, cutlery and kitchen essentials, a modern woodburner (starter kit included), kingsize handcrafted oak bed with alpaca pillows and duvet. Branded towels and Laura Ashley bedding.

Partitioned shower and toilet area with romantic bath in bedroom area.

Both living area and bedroom are dual aspect.

For stays until 31 March 2020 a car parking pass for either The Lawns or Station car park will be included. These are a short walk away. Unfortunately the council has withdrawn annual passes from 1 April 2020.
